To address the challenges of background noise, overlapping symptoms, and limited datasets in real-world agricultural settings, the system integrates three main stages: leaf segmentation, disease lesion segmentation, and disease classification, with optional plant species identification.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"is-layout-flow wp-block-column\">\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong>DA<sup>3<\/sup>-BES+: A Multi-Agent Simulation with Population Dependent Behavioral Features <\/strong><br><em>Caleb Sutton<\/em><br>(URCA Project &#8211; Fall 2023 to Spring 2024) <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"600\" height=\"337\" src=\"https:\/\/quinoneslab.cs.siue.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/ezgif.com-crop.gif\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-189\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">I am currently expanding upon the multi agent system bee simulation by Benjamin Wingerter to analyze variables that have a correlation to positive or negative outlooks on bee population, and will design experiments in order to analyze how bees react to various environmental struggles<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2>Past Projects<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Joseph Haenel, &#8220;<em>Comprehensive Study of Deep Learning and Machine Learning Algorithms on Leaf Diseases in Sorghum and Maize<\/em>&#8220;.
